Request for the erasure of mortgage

Directorate for Cadastre, Geodesy and Property

Purpose: The citizen/legal person is permitted to delete the debt towards the bank and to register the decision on the erasure of the debt at the mortgage registry.

Description: The request of the applicant is forwarded at the Directorate for Cadastre, Geodesy and Property. The competent legal officer will review the request and render a decision. The decision is positive if the request is complete, meaning that the applicant has met its obligation towards the bank, if not the conclusion with remarks on the completion of the request is issued (time limit for completing the request 1 day). The officer registers the erasure of the mortgage in the Mortgage Registry.
