Signature legalization

Directorate of General Administration

Purpose: Verification of a signature on a document or statement to belong to the applicant.

Description: The applicant files a request, for verification of a signature on a document, to the Civil Registry Office. The officer will ID the applicant through an identification document, and requests the applicant to sign the official protocol.

Validity of procedure administrative: 5 years

  • Name, surname (name of parent)
  • General information (address, telephone number, personal number)

Anticipated time within which must be answered for procedure (days): 1

Documents requested

  • Statement/document which needs to have the signature verified (the party should be present during authentication) (Original)
  • ID card or passport (Copy)
