Registration of death

Directorate of General Administration

Purpose: Regular death registration, within 30 days.

Description: The applicant files a request for registration of death to the Civil Status Office. The applicant must submit the documents, and occasionally the place where death occurred (home or hospital) and then the death is registered in the electronic system of the Civil Status.

  • Name and Surname
  • General information on the person who filed for registration of a death

Anticipated time within which must be answered for procedure (days): 1 days

Documents requested

  • Birth Certificate (Copy)
  • ID card of the deceased (Copy)
  • ID card of the person who announces the death, the applicant must be in the system (Copy)
  • Marriage Certificate (if married) (Original)
  • Death Certificate (Original)
